The Development Department of Octoin is informing us about the final stage of testing. Soon there will be a start of testing network cryptocurrency OctoinCoin. The cryptocurrency is intended to be used inside the Octoin community. It already consists of all the modern blockchain developments for optimisation of transactions speed inside the network (such as Segwit and Lighting Network), as well as the algorithms of minimising the costs.
As it was already announced, the OctoinCoin cryptocurrency is based on the Proof of Stake algorithm. Its mining will take place on PCs of all its users with the help of desktop wallets of OctoinCoin. In order to start the mining it will be enough to purchase the cryptocurrency. Therefore, the users who already have got some OCC on their balance will be in the more favorable position. They will have the priority opportunity to exchange the internal OCC units for the new cryptocurrency OctoinCoin.
Moreover, we would like to inform all the users that as a result of many meetings with the Leaders of Octoin, we decided to set up the mining percentage of OctoinCoin at 20% per month. Last preparations!

It remains a very little time before the opening of a new era of development of our project: a full-fledged launch of our OctoinCoin cryptocurrency. The tasks for testing the systems readiness to work with OctoinCoin are almost completed. Until now there are several more work processes that have been going on:

- There already have been successful extraction of the first genesis block (POW). All the planned pre-mine of coins is located for now at the main system’s wallet.

- Users' wallets pass the latest tests and adapt to the Windows and Mac.

- The algorithm Proof-of-stake (POS) is ready for start and will take about another 12 hours (as per our IT Team forecast). The start of working network can happen earlier as well if everything goes faster than expected.

After the successful completion of these procedures, users will be able to download the Desktop wallets and withdraw their coins from their Octoin accounts to these wallets.

Important information! When you do your FIRST DOWNLOAD of the OctoinCoin wallet for coin transfer, you need to import your address into the Octoin office in the corresponding section.

Today we have prepared for you two important news: about the progress of the OctoinCoin network testing and something exclusive.

The main news is that the development team integrates the algorithms of cryptocurrency very carefully and responsibly. Also, at a moment there is ongoing testing stage of some important algorithms of the user wallets, such as:
